What the app does not collect
Clear Page has no account, analytics, advertising, or tracking. It does not collect your name, email address, location, contacts, photos, health data, or payment information. It does not send your documents or reading activity to the developer or another company.
What stays on your Vision Pro
Clear Page keeps a complete local copy of each imported source file so the document can be reopened without changing the file you selected. The app also stores extracted text, Library details, reading positions, chosen reading starts, ribbons, display preferences, and page caches. For a PDF, the app uses its local source copy when you choose View original page. It does not create separate image copies for PDF figures. This information stays in the app's local storage and is used only to make the app work.
Document import and text recognition
You choose files through Apple's system file picker. PDFs, EPUBs, plain text, and Markdown are processed on your Vision Pro. When a scanned PDF needs text recognition, Clear Page uses Apple's on device text recognition. Your document content is not sent to the developer.
Deleting your data
Removing a document from the Library deletes Clear Page's local source copy, extracted text, Library details, reading positions, ribbons, and page caches for that document. It does not delete the original file from Files or its original location. Deleting the app removes the app's remaining local data from your Vision Pro.
